Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring for a highly skilled engineer to design, develop, and operate one of the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructures. The role focuses on AWS GovCloud and isolated regions, integrating systems with an agile and DevOps mindset.

You will work with top engineers to implement scalable solutions, improve tooling, and automate operations while maintaining a strong security posture and compliance across federal customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Improve tools, processes, and documentation while working with engineers across AWS regions and GovCloud.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and tune alarms to catch real problems.
• Identify ways to automate operations and reduce toil for customers.
• Support expansion of compute services across government customers and large-scale deployments.
