Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) AIS is hiring engineers to design, build, and operate large-scale cloud infrastructure for U.S. government customers.

You will work on integration, DevOps, and operations across isolated AWS regions and GovCloud, contributing to secure, reliable compute services with a strong emphasis on automation and tooling. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and offers a path to expand capabilities across the largest compute service on the planet.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Experience automating and simplifying development, test, and operations processes.
• 1+ year of Linux/Unix experience; TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to improve tools, processes and documentation for customers.
• Collaborate with systems developers and engineers across AWS regions and GovCloud.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals and tune alarms for real problems.
