Job summary

Firethorne Technology Services is hiring a Cloud & Systems Engineer to support server, storage, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure for our managed services client base. The role covers on-prem and cloud environments as clients migrate workloads to the cloud and modernize existing systems.

You will design, deploy, and maintain server/storage infrastructure, manage Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID, and support Azure/AWS migrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and storage systems.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and client communication skills.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud administration, ideally in an MSP environment. Hands-on experience with Windows Server, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), and storage systems. Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience. Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting and client communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, or similar). Experience with backup/DR solutions and monitoring tools common in MSP environments. Scripting experience (PowerShell) for automation. Prior MSP or multi-client environment experience.
