Job summary

The role requires 2–7 years of relevant experience, a related degree, DoD Secret clearance, and hands-on work with Windows servers, Active Directory, PowerShell, O365/SharePoint, Azure, and DevOps tools in a DISA/STIG RMF

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users.
• Configure IT infrastructure per best practices and DISA STIGs.
• Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems for RMF accreditation.
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks and databases.
• Install software, updates, patches and upgrades.
• Install, configure and manage ADS or Azure DevOps Server repositories.
• Understand software configuration management, build, deployment and release management, application lifecycle management, infrastructure, and DevOps tools/processes.
• Provide hands-on guidance to programming staff on topics such as branching and merging, workstation configuration, and general use of the tools.
• Monitor infrastructure for version currency.
• Upgrade servers, operating systems, middleware software, database software, and agency applications with vendor/application teams.
• Coordinate OS, middleware, and database patching; notify affected teams.
• Identify server needs for new applications with application teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
