Job summary

Integration Innovation, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to hands-on engineer secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting mission systems and enterprise services.

You will design, deploy, configure, and sustain cloud infra, automate provisioning, manage identity and security, and support migration from on-prem to cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures. Strong Azure/AWS, networking, and IAM skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with cloud.
• Strong experience with Azure or AWS infrastructure services; both preferred.
• Experience with networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, VPN, DNS, load balancing, security.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, scripting, automation, Git, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, monitoring, vulnerability management, and backup/recovery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and sustain cloud infrastructure for mission applications and services.
• Engineer virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, private connectivity, DNS, and network security controls.
• Provision and manage cloud compute, storage, databases, backup, recovery, and related services.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Ansible or equivalent tools.
• Configure cloud identity, role-based access control, secrets, certificates, and privileged-access mechanisms.
• Build monitoring, logging, alerting, performance, and capacity management capabilities.
• Automate routine administration, patching, configuration enforcement, and compliance checks.
• Support migration of legacy workloads to cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Diagnose infrastructure, network, performance, availability, and security issues; drive resolution.
• Participate in change management, incident response, DR exercises, reviews, and readiness assessments.
