Job summary

i3 in Huntsville, AL seeks IT systems administrator with DoD clearance to manage cloud and on-site infrastructure, implement RMF/ STIGs, and support diverse stakeholders. Experience with Azure, AD, VMware, and PowerShell is a plus.

You will install, configure, monitor, and secure servers, databases, and middleware, while guiding junior staff and ensuring reliable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; additional experience may substitute.
• 2-7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, and network fundamentals.
• Experience with DISA STIGs and RMF accreditation.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise supporting information system components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to satisfy system security requirements for stakeholders.
• Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
• Configure IT infrastructure in accordance with best practices and DISA STIGs.
• Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems for RMF compliance.
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks and databases.
• Install software, updates, patches and upgrades.
• Install, configure and manage ADS or Azure DevOps Server repositories.
• Mentor junior team members and provide user guidance.
