Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a mid-level Cloud System Administrator to apply Site Reliability Engineering principles with Infrastructure as Code. You will configure AWS EC2 environments using Terraform and Ansible, align with AWS Well-Architected Frameworks, and help automate operations for mission-critical systems.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, Linux proficiency, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, with opportunities across multiple Maryland-based and national locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field; equivalent to two years of experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent)
• 3+ years of IT experience in cloud-hybrid environments, systems administration, and virtualization technologies.
• Solid understanding of core Linux operating system components.

Responsibilities

• Automate operational tasks and design resilient systems.
• Implement monitoring and logging across mission-critical environments.
• Assist the SRE team with infrastructure automation and reliability improvements.
• Work with team to maintain secure, compliant AWS deployments.
