Job summary

Wyetech is hiring for a blended role spanning Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Operations Support to support federal government customers. The candidate will ensure data reliability, monitor performance, and troubleshoot across Linux and cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities include building and refining software tools, automating processes, and maintaining system health while adhering to security requirements.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph
• All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.
• Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
• Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
• Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
• Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
• Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
• Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and CASE tools.
• Estimates software development costs and schedule.
• Reviews existing programs and assists in refining, improving current techniques.
• Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications.
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel.
• Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
• Develop capabilities to shift from manual system security evaluation and authorization to automation, streamlined processes, continuous monitoring and data gathering.
