Job summary

MontyCloud is seeking a Customer Success Engineer in Austin to bridge cloud infrastructure expertise with customer outcomes. You’ll design, implement, and protect a scalable technical defense layer to accelerate time to value for customers.

You will collaborate with Product, Support, and Solutions Engineering to centralize product data, scale tier-1 support, and build success plans for enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a highly technical, customer-facing role.
• Strong foundational cloud engineering background with AWS certifications preferred.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered AI agents, search/retrieval systems (RAG), or complex workflow automation.
• Proven capability to build technical documentation, SOPs, and structured knowledge bases from scratch.
• Experience with SaaS infrastructure and multi-tenant cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect Technical Self-Service: unify fractured product documentation, knowledge base articles, and technical notes into a centralized repository.
• Build and Optimize AI Agent Architectures: lead deployment and tuning of AI support agents; train and optimize against corporate data.
• Protect Engineering & SE Mindshare: deflect low-level inquiries with technical automation to free up pre-sales engineers.
• Unify Platform Data: operationalize standardized data metrics like tenant activation velocity and technical friction tracking.
• Technical Onboarding & Escalation: handle technical escalations during enterprise onboarding (first 90 days).
