Job summary

AMD seeks a Cloud Verticals Marketing Sr. Director to lead the development of the company’s strategy and business plan for Cloud BU sell-out with world-wide datacenter partners.

You will set goals, craft tactics, and rally teams to execute across datacenter and cloud customers. The ideal candidate blends CPU/product knowledge with enterprise cloud experience, excellent marketing and presentation skills, and the ability to drive collaboration with executives and partners globally.

Qualifications

• Breadth of abilities in CPU/product knowledge and server architecture
• Strong marketing and presentation abilities
• Understanding of enterprise cloud journey from migration to cloud, hybrid and multi-cloud strategies
• Collaborative and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Autonomous, self-starter with ability to operate independently

Responsibilities

• Own AMD's Cloud BU sell-out strategy for cloud adoption worldwide
• Provide compelling value propositions and enablement in short, medium, and long term
• Drive cloud workload optimization and benchmarking with AMD Ecosystem & Software teams
• Lead joint customer development engagements and ISV partnerships
• Collaborate with Product Planning and CTO to build HW/SW strategy and evaluate M&A opportunities
• Engage with cloud customers to understand business goals and ensure alignment with AMD goals
