Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer II in Atlanta to design, build, and scale cloud platforms powering our products. You will automate operations, monitor performance, and partner with software engineers to improve reliability and deployment readiness.

The role emphasizes on-call support, IaC, and collaboration with cloud architects and operations teams to ensure secure, available services used by customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years in SRE/DevOps or related roles.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tooling.
• Exposure to observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK).

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance cloud-based infrastructure and apps.
• Implement automation to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor health using observability tools and resolve issues.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Troubleshoot problems with engineering teams.
• Contribute to IaC initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers to improve reliability and deployment readiness.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks.
• Stay current with cloud platform technologies.
