Job summary

Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. Our Technical Solutions Developer will own large customer issues and provide level two support to other teams, joining a global 24x7 support effort to help customers switch to Google Cloud.

You will troubleshoot problems with debugging, networking, system administration, docs updates, and when needed, coding/scripting to improve adoption and usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of experience reading/debugging in Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript.
• 9 years of experience troubleshooting and triaging customer issues and needs.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 support for Google Cloud Platform products.
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues through debugging, networking, and admin tasks.
• Advise sales and customer teams as SME for deployments.
• Develop tools to improve issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Collaborate with Product and Site Reliability Engineers to improve supportability.
