Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking experienced and motivated technical managers to coach, grow, and partner with Solutions Architects. You will help develop industry-leading cloud-based architectures and enable best practices in solution selling, presentations, and training.

Travel up to 30% is expected as you drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers and industries. You will lead a team of Solution Architects, mentoring them to reach senior and complex roles, while engaging with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT application work including at least 2 years hands-on software development or DevOps experience.
• 2+ years of architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI).
• 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps guiding IT transformations to cloud.
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.
• 3+ years of architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms.
• 5+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end roadmaps for cloud computing.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer-facing resources.

Responsibilities

• Build and migrate applications and modernize software on the AWS platform.
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solutions Architects.
• Educate customers on AWS value and lead architectural discussions for cloud deployments.
• Coach architects to conduct training sessions and share deep technical skills.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the solutions architect community.
• Guide creation of whitepapers, data sheets, and other customer-facing guidance.
• Drive cloud adoption strategies addressing banking/regulatory challenges.
