About the role
- We are seeking aCloud Software Engineerto support mission-critical cyber operations within our Cyber Mission business unit. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain secure cloud-based applications that automate complex workflows and enable mission operators to execute high-priority national security missions. Working in anAgile, DevOps-focused environment, you will leverage modern cloud technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintaincloud-based software applications.
- Support the fullsoftware development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Develop system enhancements and performance improvements to support operational stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-focused capabilities.
- SupportCI/CD pipeline development, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenshipwith an activeTS/SCI clearance with current Polygraph.
- 8+ years of software development/engineering experiencesupporting requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science or a related technical fieldpreferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
- A Master’s degree may substitute for four years of experience.
- Acceptable fields include Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Must possess one of the following certifications:
- Experience withJava, Spring Framework, and JUnit.
- Experience developing and integratingREST APIs and JSON-based services.
- Experience withElasticsearch/ELK, Redis, and MongoDB.
- Experience withDocker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Experience withAWS cloud services.
- Experience usingGit/GitLab and CI/CD toolssuch as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing secure, cloud-native applications in mission-critical environments.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience supporting DevOps automation and continuous delivery practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with distributed systems and enterprise-scale applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively while independently driving technical solutions.
The pay range for this role is:
240,000 - 255,000 USD per year (Annapolis Junction, MD)
