Technology Partners is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer to join our enterprise platform team in St. Louis.

You will manage the self-hosted toolchain on AWS EKS, driving consolidation and migration toward SaaS solutions, with a focus on security, reliability, and operational excellence. The role requires 3–5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, strong Terraform and Python scripting, and experience with enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on with enterprise CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or CloudBees.
• Proficient with GitHub Actions workflows and secret management.
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, IAM.
• Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Terraform at scale.
• Familiarity with security tooling (SAST/SCA/SBOM) and TLS/PKI.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join the enterprise DevSecOps platform team supporting the full software development lifecycle for over 300 developers. In this role, you will work on maintaining and optimizing the current self-hosted toolchain on AWS EKS, while actively contributing to upcoming consolidation and migration initiatives towards SaaS-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability, security, and continuous improvement. This is a contract-to-hire position with a focus on operational excellence and strategic migration efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support existing CI/CD platforms including CloudBees CI on EKS and GitHub Enterprise Server.
• Manage platform lifecycle activities such as upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Support integration of artifacts, security scans, and code quality tools like Artifactory, Xray, and SonarQube.
• Develop and extend Terraform infrastructure code through PR-based pipelines.
• Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads on EKS, including Helm releases and scaling.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents across compute, storage, networking, and security layers.
• Drive vulnerability remediation efforts, patch cycles, and produce operational runbooks.
• Lead the build and operation of self-hosted runners on EKS and facilitate platform migration activities.
• Plan and execute repository migrations, including validation and rollback procedures.
• Configure enterprise identity access management, SSO, and SCIM integrations in the target platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or CloudBees.
• Strong proficiency with GitHub Actions workflows, reusable workflows, runners, and secrets management.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services including EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, and KMS.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Terraform at a production scale.
• Familiarity with security tooling such as SAST, SCA, SBOM, and container security scanning.
• Comfort with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and VPNs.
• Experience with certificates, TLS, PKI, and identity protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Proficient scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Groovy.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to work independently with broad ownership, maintaining strong documentation practices.
• Participation in on-call rotations is required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Prior experience with enterprise migration projects to GitHub Enterprise Cloud or migration of Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise Importer (GEI) and Actions Runner Controller (ARC) in production settings.
• Knowledge of enterprise Artifactory/Xray, SonarQube, or Atlassian Cloud migrations.
• AWS certification such as DevOps Engineer - Professional or Solutions Architect.
• Exposure to regulated enterprise environments with formal change management processes.

Pay

$45.50 - $65.00 /hr
