Job summary

Technology Partners seeks an Engineer 2 in Missouri to bolster the Marketing DevOps team. You will build cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with Terraform, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security and performance requirements are met.

You will manage end-to-end platforms, troubleshoot Java backends and Node.js frontends, and drive automated, reliable delivery while collaborating cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Maven/Gradle.
• Proficient in Groovy, Linux Shell/Bash, and Python.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC tooling (HCL).
• Strong AWS knowledge: EC2, EBS, CloudFront, S3, Route53.
• Experience managing Java backend services (Tomcat, Spring Boot) and Node.js/TypeScript frontend apps.
• Security-focused approach in daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation.

• Triage technical problems, determine root causes, and drive resolution through excellent communication.

What You Will Be Doing:

As an Engineer 2, you will apply technical knowledge to solve business problems and serve as a subject matter expert for complex assignments. Working within our fast-paced Marketing DevOps team, you will evaluate technology effectiveness and provide high-quality solutions that align with customer expectations. You will focus on building cloud infrastructure and implementing automation to maximize efficiency and ensure non-functional requirements like security and performance are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain AWS and/or Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD automation methodologies.
• Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation.
• Identify and implement changes to maximize team efficiency in delivering secure, compliant, and high-performance solutions.
• Manage end-to-end application platforms, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Java-based backend services and frontend applications.
• Triage technical problems, determine root causes, and drive resolution through excellent communication.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Maven/Gradle.
• Proven proficiency in scripting languages (Groovy, Linux Shell/Bash, and Python).
• Experience with IaaS IaC tools (Terraform and HCL).
• Strong working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EBS, CloudFront, S3, and Route53.
• Experience managing Java-based backend services (Apache Tomcat, Spring Boot) and Node.js/TypeScript frontend applications.
• Commitment to incorporating security into all daily job responsibilities.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or a related field.
• AWS Cloud certifications.
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience with Open Source automation tools like Chef or Ansible.
• General understanding of Network DNS, firewalls, routing, Imperva, and certificate management.
• An automation-first mindset for repeatable efficiency.

Pay:

$42.70 - $61.00 / hr.
