Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking a DevOps Engineer contractor to join the DevTools team. You will build, maintain, and support the organization’s CI/CD portfolio, collaborating with development teams to ensure platform reliability and security.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Jenkins pipeline authoring, shared libraries, and agent configuration.
  • Groovy scripting experience with shared libraries or pipeline functions.
  • At least 3 years of enterprise-wide Bitbucket administration, including branch permissions and webhooks.
  • Experience managing Artifactory repositories, permissions, and credential lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of infrastructure engineering on Linux and/or Windows platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for multi-application pipeline and platform issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with development teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to security best practices.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented DevOpsEngineer.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will join the DevTools engineering team as a lead engineer responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s CI/CD portfolio of tools. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure platform reliability and address complex issues independently. You will serve as a mentor to operations engineers, guiding best practices and troubleshooting procedures. Your work will encompass consulting with teams, enhancing platform performance, and supporting ongoing automation efforts in a fast-paced environment. This is a contractor role lasting at least 3 months, with potential for extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines primarily using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
  • Develop and optimize shared libraries and pipeline functions using Groovy scripting.
  • Manage enterprise-scale Bitbucket repositories including branch permissions and webhook configurations.
  • Administer Artifactory repositories, managing permissions, credentials, and tokens.
  • Troubleshoot complex multi-tool platform issues across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Support infrastructure automation by writing Ansible playbooks and supporting scripting efforts.
  • Ensure platform security best practices and compliance are incorporated into all decisions.
  • Collaborate with development teams for platform onboarding, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Jenkins pipeline authoring, shared library development, and agent configuration.
  • Proven Groovy scripting experience, including authoring shared libraries or pipeline functions.
  • At least 3 years of enterprise‑wide Bitbucket administration, including branch permissions and webhooks.
  • Experience managing Artifactory repositories, permissions, and credential lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of infrastructure engineering experience on Linux and/or Windows platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for multi‑application pipeline and platform issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working directly with development teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to security best practices.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are a plus.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with Ansible automation and writing playbooks.
  • Knowledge of pipeline integration with BlackDuck or SonarQube for security and quality gates.
  • Familiarity with CA DevTest or test automation tools.
  • Python scripting for operational automation.
  • Java development experience related to CI/CD contexts.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of IAM, secrets management, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Prior involvement in platform migration or team onboarding projects.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic or Tomcat middleware.
Pay:

$44.10 - $63.00 /hr
