Job summary

Peraton in the United States is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer 1 to support the development and deployment of enterprise cloud-based solutions within a mission-driven environment. The selected candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of scalable cloud-native applications powering large-scale compute and data analytics platforms.

This role works within an Agile development team to implement secure and reliable software across cloud infrastructure

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or related field.
• Experience with analysis, development, installation, evaluation, maintenance, or problem resolution.
• Experience with Java, Python, or C++, and Linux-based operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, integration, and maintenance of cloud‑native apps.
• Support enterprise cloud solutions, scalable compute, and data analytics platforms.
• Work in an Agile team to deliver secure, reliable software across cloud environments.
