Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Architect/Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native applications and infrastructure at scale. You will work with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern cloud services to deliver resilient microservices and data pipelines for national security programs.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs in Java Spring Boot or Python, implementing IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and driving automated CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability and security.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph is required.
• Eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is required.
• One of the following Cloud Developer Certifications is required (AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CKAD, Elastic Certified Engineer).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement resilient, scalable, cloud-native architectures.
• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot) or Python.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Create interactive, data‑driven dashboards and visualization tools using React or similar.
