Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to build cutting-edge cloud solutions for national security. You will work on AWS-based, distributed systems with Java, Python, and Linux, contributing across the software lifecycle on large compute clusters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development/engineering with requirements analysis and integration.
• Experience with cloud development certifications or eligibility to obtain one.
• 5+ years in software development with Java/C/C++ and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with distributed systems, NoSQL, Hadoop ecosystem, and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based software solutions and AI/ML integrations on AWS.
• Analyze requirements, implement, test, and sustain cloud services for mission needs.
• Collaborate on large-scale compute clusters and containerized microservices.
