Job summary

PTC in the United States is seeking a Systems Maintenance professional to plan and execute Linux patching, maintain patch schedules, and coordinate with Systems, Networking, DBA, R&D and Application Support. You will verify system health and post-maintenance outcomes to minimize downtime.

Required: 2+ years Linux experience, cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure), and basic Oracle/ETL skills; US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of Linux systems experience and patching knowledge.
• Experience coordinating OS patching with multiple teams and maintenance windows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS/Azure and Oracle basics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute OS patching and infrastructure maintenance.
• Develop patching schedules and maintenance plans across environments.
• Review systems for prerequisites and risks before maintenance.
• Coordinate with Systems, Networking, DBA, R&D and App Support.
• Validate pre/post maintenance outcomes and system health.
