Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Systems Development Engineer to join the Cryptography and Identity team.

You will work on massively scalable, secure systems, partnering with customers to solve complex problems and improve operations in a dev-ops driven environment. You will help design, deploy, and operate distributed security infrastructure for identity management and web services while collaborating with top engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 4+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 6+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to execute projects and resolve issues
• Operate in a dev-ops service engineering model
• Improve customer experience through deep technical analysis and issue resolution
• Address needs across a full suite of AWS services
