Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks a Software Development Engineer to build, own, and operate services at global scale. You’ll work with senior engineers, mentor juniors, and influence system design across AWS identity and security stacks.

Expect to decompose complex problems, apply scalable architectures, and share best practices for performance, reliability, and security to help customers run workloads confidently and securely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

• Create and collaborate in the design, implementation, and deployment of systems and services
• Work and grow with talented teams delivering impactful projects
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions while understanding system interdependencies and limitations
