Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join AWS Cryptography and Identity Management in Seattle, WA. You will work with customers to execute projects, resolve issues, and improve operations in a dev-ops environment with ownership bias.

You will collaborate with engineers to address security, identity, and scalable service challenges across large-scale systems, contributing to world-class reliability and performance for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above, or CND (Certified Network Defender) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials).
• Experience programming with modern languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell or Ruby.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years designing or architecting systems and reliability/scaling.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
