Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to work with internal and external customers on projects and issue resolution.

This role embraces dev-ops service engineering and ownership bias, delivering high-impact solutions for world-class challenges. You will join AWS Cryptography and Identity, building massively scalable distributed security systems and enabling customers to control highly sensitive secrets.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above, or CND or GSEC certification.
• Experience programming in C++, C#, Java, Python, or Go.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1+ years designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to execute projects and resolve issues.
• Join AWS Cryptography and Identity to build secure, scalable distributed systems.
