You will translate strategy into structured execution, guiding architecture decisions across AWS, GCP, IaC, and Kubernetes, while ensuring code quality, observability, and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Engineering Manager experience leading a software/security squad or strong tech-lead background with readiness to move into people management.
• Hands-on software engineering with code review in Golang, Clojure, or Python; automation scripting.
• Experience with AWS at scale; familiarity with GCP is a plus.
• Designing and governing preventive controls (SCPs, policies) and remediation pipelines.
• Hiring, onboarding, and developing engineers; doing performance and career conversations.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to explain complex trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the squad with clear goals, feedback, and career conversations for senior ICs.
• Drive architectural decisions across multi-cloud patterns (AWS, GCP), IaC, Kubernetes, event-driven controls.
• Translate Foundation Security strategy into squad roadmap and balance regulatory commitments with AI enablement.
• Own squad financials, governance, risk management, and compliance in ITSec guidelines.
