Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking an engineering leader to set and deliver a roadmap advancing Amazon's security, privacy, and operations. You will mentor engineers, own the charter, and guide architectural decisions across multiple domains, impacting cloud, devices, retail, and services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive critical security tools, and maintain high standards for software quality while fostering innovation and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 5+ years of engineering team management.
• 5+ years designing/architecting scalable systems.
• Knowledge of the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a talented team of engineers, mentoring and building a high-performing organization.
• Define and execute strategic roadmaps by owning team charter, vision, and long-term architectural decisions.
• Drive architecture, design, implementation, and operational support of security tools and services with cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with engineering, science, and security teams to build technology solutions and maintain high standards for processes and execution.
• Review and prioritize operational and customer issues to scale delivery while ensuring software quality.
