Prescient Edge in Doral, Florida (USSOUTHCOM Headquarters) seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to support a Federal Government client. The role emphasizes implementing security controls in cloud environments and ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD IL 2/4/5.

It requires expertise in IAM, security monitoring, and cloud-native security solutions. The position demands hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent cloud security experience.
• Experience implementing security controls to comply with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD IL 2/4/5.
• Strong IAM, security monitoring, and cloud-native security solutions expertise.
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and cloud security monitoring is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SSP, SAR, and POA&M artifacts.
• Configure and manage IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust in cloud environments.
• Provide Cloud Security Compliance & Risk reports to ensure DoD requirements.
• Work with AWS/Azure to implement secure, scalable cloud solutions.
