Job summary

Enterprise Engineering Inc. (EEI) in NYC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead security across infrastructure, cloud and development teams. You will design and implement security processes, tools, and automation, delivering scalable, secure solutions in a rapidly growing environment.

You will work on security architecture, incident response, and cross-functional collaboration with DevOps and Cloud Engineering, on-site five days in NYC.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in information security infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS and Azure security in a multi-account environment.
• Experience with security tooling (WAF, SIEM, MDR) and automation.
• Proficient scripting skills (Python or similar).
• Ability to guide developers on security best practices and policies.
• Experience with incident response, security operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Improve security across infrastructure by configuring AWS and Azure services.
• Perform cloud infrastructure security reviews of IAM, S3, KMS, and other core services.
• Implementation and operation of security tooling (WAF, SIEM, MDR).
• Utilize programming and scripting languages for automation.
• Conduct lightweight offensive/discovery operations with teams.
• Work with DevOps/Cloud Engineering to secure infrastructure.
• Automate detection of vulnerabilities and coordinate patches to production.
• Assist in penetration testing and remediation with engineering teams.
• Conduct security architecture reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
• Operationalize security incident response and investigations.
