Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking an Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineering to build and maintain security tooling for endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.

You will work within a service-oriented security team to design, implement, and automate protections across on‑prem, cloud, and container platforms. The role requires 3+ years in engineering or information security, strong analytical skills, and experience with cloud/container tech.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering or information security experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud and container technologies.
• Ability to work in a service-oriented team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, planning, and implementation of information security solutions.
• Tune systems infrastructure for security and enhancements.
• Automate manual tasks using scripting and application development.
• Investigate and adopt new security technologies/tools as needs arise.
• Evaluate, test, and integrate new security controls, settings and security tools.
• Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions.
• Provide support to, and coordinate with, developers, operations staff, release engineers, Incident Response, GRC, Red Team, and other disciplines.
• Educate and mentor team members and operations staff.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours support.
