Job summary

ECI in New York, NY seeks a Senior Corporate Infrastructure Engineer to drive internal IT initiatives, including cloud implementation, desktop engineering escalation, and networking for internal users. You will collaborate with the Internal IT Team and act as a tier 3 escalation point.

The role emphasizes advanced support of cloud infrastructures (Microsoft 365/Azure), AI tooling, data protection via Microsoft Purview, and automation using PowerShell or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in tech admin roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Windows 10/11.
• Public Cloud administration with focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Experience with AI platforms and assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Experience deploying and supporting Exchange Online, Proofpoint Essentials, Mimecast.
• VMware vSphere/Hyper‑V virtualization experience.
• Networking, routing, switching, security appliance management (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki).
• Strong incident response, disaster recovery, and SOP/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as tier 3 escalation point for Internal IT.
• Provide advanced cloud, desktop engineering, and networking support for internal users.
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled tools and secure adoption.
• Governance with Microsoft Purview, data classification, and DLP policy administration.
• Create automation scripts (PowerShell/Python) to streamline IT operations.
• Manage endpoints with Microsoft Intune and ensure device compliance.
• Configure Azure AD Conditional Access, MFA, and zero-trust models.
• Maintain Enterprise mail and security platforms (Exchange Online, Proofpoint, Mimecast).
• Handle enterprise switching, routing, VLANs, ACLs, and port changes.
• Document runbooks, SOPs, and architecture diagrams for knowledge base.
