Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Equivalents with an associate degree plus cybersecurity experience may be considered.
• Relevant certifications may include CISSP, GIAC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, or CISM.
• At least 2 years of cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish secure cloud configurations and layered defenses.
• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies based on industry best practices.
• Implement controls like network segmentation, data protection, and threat detection.
• Automate security operations via scripting and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy cloud-native security tools including IAM, encryption, and firewalls.
• Monitor, log, and report on cloud security KPIs and incidents.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.
