Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive audit and compliance experience.
• Experience with cloud-native environments and multi-cloud security.
• Translate complex compliance requirements into actionable workstreams for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Integrated with controls frameworks or GRC systems at scale.
• Write clear security and privacy documentation for external and internal audiences.
• Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and build processes from scratch.
• Organize time-bounded task management across a diverse organization.
• Educate the organization on new compliance requirements and auditors on current security practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand how security and privacy frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC 2) are implemented.
• Build scalable data center and hyperscaler processes and documentation systems for future expansion.
• Assess and mitigate security and operational risks; implement corrective actions; manage vendor compliance.
• Coordinate engagements with independent assessors to earn security certifications and attestations.
• Write, update and enact policies capturing security, privacy, and AI safety requirements.
• Maintain and enhance security controls through audit readiness, recordkeeping, and cross-functional communication.
