Anthropic is seeking a senior security governance, risk, and compliance leader to join the GRC team in a hybrid office setting. You will oversee policy development, data governance, and risk management for AI agents, ensuring controls stay auditable and aligned with major frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security governance, risk, and compliance at a technology company.
• Owns or significantly contributed to security policies and control standards.
• Experience compartmentalizing sensitive data and implementing least- privilege access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the security policy partner for AI agent governance, drafting policies and standards.
• Define review/approval criteria for interaction with sensitive or regulated data and human approval needs.
• Serve as the GRC reviewer within engineering approval workflows.
• Define data governance requirements for agents, including least-privilege access and access reviews.
• Monitor agent behavior over time and adapt governance requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Map agent security and data controls to AI governance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 42001, EU AI Act).
• Document agent-related security risks and drive resolution with engineering owners.
• Own the policy for agent-related risk acceptances and exceptions, including approval authority.
