Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the SCOT-Inbound, Inventory Routing and Replenishment team in Bellevue, WA. You will design, build, and scale multi-tier services that optimize inventory placement across global marketplaces.

You will work with Senior and Principal Engineers, researchers, and data engineers to expand and optimize supply chain systems, using Agile, TDD, and cloud-based architectures to deliver low-latency solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
• Experience with multi-tier, multi-threaded or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Experiment with whatever technology needed to get the job done.
• Work with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers to design a new platform for optimizing supply chain management.
• Expand and optimize supply chain systems to support emerging business initiatives.
• Automate third party supply management systems and drive inventory across Amazon marketplaces.
