Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions within the Infrastructure Operations team. The role focuses on stability, automation, and capacity management for enterprise-scale networks across multiple data centers.

The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and has experience supporting large-scale networks. TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience.
• Experience with networking fundamentals.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 3+ years of mid-level and/or enterprise experience as a technician or engineer or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and conduct quality assurance.
• Support deployment activities during change windows and assist in migrations and rollouts.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues and device configurations.
