Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer to build and scale dedicated cloud regions within AWS Infrastructure Operations.

This role focuses on stabilizing next‑gen networks, automating processes, and supporting multiple data center locations with strong documentation practices. Ideal candidates are autonomous, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

Experience with networking fundamentals.
Knowledge of cabling best practices.
Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
Current, active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in a technical program or higher.

Responsibilities

Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
Manage cabling vendor activities and quality assurance.
Support deployment activities during change windows and assist in migration and rollout of hardware.
Complete customer requests via ticketing system.
Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues; deliver repeatable solutions.
