Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale dedicated cloud regions within our Infrastructure Operations team. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable network infrastructure and developing automation to support growth and deployment.

The candidate will work with data center networks, perform device builds, cabling validations, and collaborate with vendors and program managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical work experience or a Bachelor's in an advanced technical program.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• General comprehension of data center infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and perform quality assurance activities.
• Support Network Engineering deployment activities during change management windows and assist in migrations and rollout of new hardware.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues; deliver simple, sustainable, repeatable solutions.
