Qualifications

• 1+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience.
• Experience with networking fundamentals.
• US Citizenship and must possess TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 3+ years of mid-level/enterprise experience as a technician or engineer; or equivalent education/experience.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and QA.
• Support deployment activities during change windows and assist in migrations.
• Complete customer requests via ticketing system (Remedy).
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter-connectivity issues.
• Deliver repeatable solutions and processes.
• Travel up to 40% within the area, possibly international, on small projects.
