Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer to build and scale Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions within the Infrastructure Operations team in Culpeper, VA. You will drive automation, scale data center networking, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of technical work experience or Bachelor's degree in an advanced technical program.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and perform quality assurance activities.
• Support Network Engineering deployment activities during change management windows and participate in migration, basic configuration and rollout of new hardware.
• Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues; deliver simple, sustainable, repeatable solutions and processes.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflow; collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Travel within geographical work area up to 40% may be required, possibly including international travel.
