Job summary

Marlabs Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise CI/CD platforms and automation frameworks. You will create reusable deployment patterns and self-service capabilities to improve developer experience and reduce operational overhead.

You will lead security automation, RBAC/SSO and Secrets management efforts, integrating scanning and governance into pipelines. Strong coding skills and collaboration across teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and modern software delivery practices.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration Management, and Software Defined Infrastructure concepts.
On-premises, virtualized, containerized, and cloud-based environments experience.
Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Python.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation background.
Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and Microsoft DSC for enterprise automation.
Knowledge of REST APIs, SOA, and system integration patterns.
Experience integrating security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance into delivery processes.
Experience in governance and change control in large enterprises.

Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and optimize enterprise CI/CD platforms and automation frameworks.
Create reusable deployment patterns, templates, and self-service capabilities to reduce toil.
Troubleshoot and modernize CI/CD processes for reliability, scalability, and security.
Develop automation spanning build, test, security validation, deployment, monitoring, and support.
Partner with development teams to accelerate software delivery using modern DevOps practices.
Lead Security Automation & DevSecOps across software delivery and infrastructure.
Implement RBAC, SSO, PAM, and PSM capabilities with IAM teams.
Integrate security scanning, governance controls, and compliance into pipelines.
Drive remediation and automation for infrastructure, apps, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
Lead Database-as-Code efforts and Liquibase-based deployment frameworks.
Develop observability capabilities with monitoring, logging, and metrics integrations.
Collaborate for standardization and continuous improvement across teams.
