Job summary

CA CI International Inc. is seeking an AWS Platform DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, automate, secure, and operate the AWS cloud platform for a large-scale modernization program in the United States.

The role emphasizes secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation with Terraform/CloudFormation, and ongoing security integration across development teams, with collaboration across federal stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

Experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, and Systems Manager.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation frameworks.
Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices, including automated testing, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and secure software delivery.
Experience integrating security controls into pipelines, including static code analysis, dependency scanning, container/image scanning, infrastructure scanning, secrets detection, artifact management, and security quality gates.
Experience with AWS identity, access management, networking, logging, monitoring, encryption, secrets management, and security services, including least privilege patterns.
Strong experience with containerization technologies including Docker and container orchestration platforms such as ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
Experience managing deployments, environment configuration, release automation, and production support activities.
Experience implementing platform observability through monitoring, logging, alerts, tracing, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities for a large-scale modernization program.
Implement and maintain modern DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, automated build and deployment workflows, and release automation.
Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to support repeatable provisioning.
Embed security across the SDLC with automated analysis, scans, and evidence generation.
Provide observability through centralized logging, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and tracing across modernized and legacy components.
Collaborate with architects, security teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with governance and compliance requirements.
