Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Platform Architect to own the core WDP infrastructure, driving non-functional requirements like performance, availability and disaster recovery. You will lead cloud design, containerization with Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, shaping the platform's technical roadmap.

You will work with security and compliance requirements, manage scalability, and guide senior/junior engineers. This role requires US work authorization and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Secret security clearance required.
• Cloud certifications (Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP) expected or for junior/journeyman roles.
• Senior level requires certifications (SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT).
• We are actively seeking Junior (0–3 yrs), Journeyman (4–7 yrs), Senior (8+ yrs) with Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform's technical roadmap focusing on performance, availability, and disaster recovery.
• Lead design and evolution of cloud infrastructure and containerization strategy (Kubernetes).
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and core platform services.
