Job summary

Hasbro, Inc. through Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to shape governance and automation for cloud services.

You will define policy-as-code standards, automate compliance and cost controls, and enable self-service provisioning with secure, auditable workflows. You will lead strategic and hands-on efforts, building tooling and guardrails to ensure secure, cost-aware infrastructure by default.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, across principal/staff level
• Deep experience with major Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Hands-on with IaC at scale (Terraform/Pulumi)
• Policy-as-code and governance frameworks experience
• Cost management/FinOps experience
• Familiar with CI/CD, containers, observability
• AI tooling exposure for infra is a plus
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting direction

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce policy-as-code standards across cloud accounts/subscriptions
• Establish guardrails with tools like OPA, Sentinel, AWS Config/ SCP
• Collaborate on least-privilege enforcement and self-service capabilities
• Embed cost governance into provisioning workflows
• Drive IaC standards and governance modules
• Develop reusable modules with governance by default
• Automate provisioning, drift remediation, lifecycle management
• Explore AI-native tooling for policy review and automation
• Create golden paths for infrastructure provisioning and deployment
• Partner on developer platform tooling and integrations
