Job summary

Okta is seeking a Cloud Platform Architect for the TDI Infrastructure Engineering group to define standards and patterns for scalable cloud infrastructure powering the AI platform and enterprise workloads.

You will own cloud platform architecture, lead Kubernetes/EKS strategy, and collaborate with AI, security, and productivity architects to enable secure, multi-cloud deployments and air-gapped-ready designs across federal programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience designing and operating Kubernetes and EKS at scale.
• Security clearance: Active U.S. TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Strong IaC fluency with Terraform, AWS CDK, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to influence architectural decisions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Okta's Cloud Platform architecture with reference architectures and guardrails.
• Lead architecture for Kubernetes and EKS, including multi-tenancy and security posture.
• Elevate Okta's AI platform with scalable production-grade infrastructure.
• Drive multi-cloud strategy and evaluate AWS, Azure, and GCP workloads.
• Serve as technical anchor for the Cloud Platform Engineering team and align with product and security.
