Job summary

Okta seeks a Cloud Platform Architect to define standards and drive the future of our cloud infrastructure. You will own cloud platform architecture, lead Kubernetes/EKS design, and collaborate with AI, security, and product teams to scale our AI workloads.

This hands-on role requires 10+ years in cloud infra, strong IaC skills, and the ability to operate across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Hybrid work model with U.S.-based delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience at enterprise scale.
• Deep expertise in one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven Kubernetes and EKS architecture, security, and day-2 operations.
• Experience architecting infrastructure for AI/ML workloads and model serving.
• Strong ability to influence architectural decisions across teams.
• U.S. TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Okta’s Cloud Platform architecture with guardrails for consistency, security, and reliability.
• Lead the architecture for Kubernetes and EKS, including multi-tenancy and security posture.
• Elevate Okta’s AI platform to a production-grade, scalable platform for broad adoption.
• Drive multi-cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud with cost/performance focus.
• Partner with AI, security, productivity architects, PMs, and business units to align infra with requirements.
