Job summary

USP is seeking a Senior Manager of Cloud Operations to lead AWS cloud services, data platforms, and Acquia/Drupal environments supporting enterprise applications. The role requires strong leadership, security, cost management, and automation.

The candidate will drive reliability, observability, and incident management while partnering with cybersecurity and architecture teams to enforce governance and compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in cloud/infrastructure or related IT operations roles.
• 2+ years leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS Cloud Operations – ownership of availability, performance, security, and capacity.
• Provide Cloud Architecture Leadership – guide architecture decisions for secure, cost-effective AWS solutions.
• Oversee data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics workloads for reliable processing.
• Ensure Acquia & Drupal platform stability, security, and readiness.
• Drive observability, monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Advance automation, IaC, CI/CD, and deployment reliability.
• Ensure cloud security, governance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Optimize AWS cost transparency, governance, and forecasting.
• Lead ITIL-based service management and documentation.
• Develop high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
