Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Cloud Operations Engineering in the United States to lead a diverse team of cloud engineers, DevOps, and systems administrators. The role focuses on reliability, automation, and lifecycle improvements across cloud-based and data center environments.

You will mentor staff, manage incident response, and collaborate with security/compliance teams to maintain FedRAMP/NIST/SOC 2-aligned operations while advancing modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/IT/Engineering plus 8 years in cloud ops/DevOps, or Master's with 6 years and leadership.
• 2+ years leading technical teams (cloud ops, DevOps, SRE, infra), mentoring and performance mgmt.
• Experience running production cloud/hybrid setups and leading 24x7 incident response.
• IaC for deployments and workflows (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with security/compliance supporting FedRAMP/NIST 800-53/SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, DevOps, and SREs to drive reliability and growth.
• Oversee operations of cloud-based, hybrid, and data center infrastructure, solving complex problems.
• Champion automation and IaC to streamline deployments and operations.
• Coordinate incident response and communicate system status with stakeholders.
