Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a FedRAMP Site Reliability Engineering Senior Technical Leader to architect and operate the Federal region with peak availability, security, and compliance.

You will implement an everything-as-code strategy for AWS cloud-native services, maintain FedRAMP controls, and collaborate with development and security teams to scale multi-region deployments while meeting government standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors + 12 years of experience, or Masters + 8 years, or PhD.
• Experience building or operating infrastructure in regulated environments with documented security controls for FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC2.
• Experience coding in Python and utilizing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and architecture of the Federal region to ensure peak availability, performance, and security for high-volume data streams.
• Implement an everything-as-code strategy to design and manage resilient AWS cloud-native services.
• Maintain rigorous FedRAMP compliance through continuous auditing and automated security controls.
