Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is hiring a Manager of Cloud Operations Engineering in the United States. You will lead a team of cloud engineers, DevOps, and systems administrators to ensure reliability of hybrid and data center infrastructure, while promoting automation and modern DevOps practices.

You’ll collaborate with security/compliance teams to meet FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 standards and manage on-call processes with clear runbooks and incident communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in cloud operations/DevOps; 3+ years in lead role, or Master’s with 6+ years and 2+ years leadership.
• 2+ years of experience leading/supervising technical teams (cloud ops, DevOps, SRE, infra) including mentoring.
• Experience operating production cloud/hybrid environments and leading 24x7 incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, DevOps, and Systems Administrators.
• Oversee cloud-based, hybrid, and data centre infrastructure operations and incident response.
• Champion automation and IaC practices to reduce manual work and improve deployment workflows.
